Cast Your Wedding Champagne Cork in Solid Bronze

A truly unique anniversary experience

Transform the champagne cork from one of the most important days of your life into a beautiful solid bronze sculpture.

Using the ancient lost-wax bronze casting process, you’ll spend the day at my London foundry creating a bronze version of your original wedding champagne cork. This is a fascinating hands-on experience where you’ll learn how artists have cast bronze for thousands of years while creating a lasting keepsake of your own celebration.

No previous experience is necessary.

How it works

Step 1 – Send us your cork

Before your experience day, you’ll need to post your original wedding champagne cork to the studio.

This allows me to prepare the mould and wax replica before your visit, so everything is ready for you to take part in the bronze casting process on the day.

Step 2 – Attend your experience day

During your workshop you will:

• Learn the principles of lost-wax bronze casting.
• Prepare your own wax casting.
• Invest your piece in ceramic shell.
• Melt and pour molten bronze (with full guidance).
• Learn about finishing and patination.

Step 3 – Collection

After casting, your bronze cork will be professionally cleaned, chased and patinated in the studio.

Your finished bronze sculpture will then be ready for collection (or can be posted to you if required).

Important information

• Please book your experience before sending your cork.
• Your original cork should arrive at the studio at least 1–3 weeks before your workshop to allow time for mould preparation.
• If you no longer have your original wedding cork, another champagne cork of similar size can be used.
